I might be getting a little ahead of myself here but I’ve created a new mix for November in celebration of us buying our first house. We found out yesterday that the first stage of our mortgage application has gone through and the second stage (surveyance) has been initiated. Considering the house is only ten years old, the chances are good for the bank to lend us the money so the biggest hurdle of the move has been jumped.
The estate agents are hoping to complete the sale by 3rd December which doesn’t leave us much time. We’re quite happy with this as it saves us time waiting around but from talking to friends, it sounds a little ambitious and we do have a lot of packing to do. Saying that, we could be in for Christmas which would be ideal. Here’s to hoping…
Anyway, if you like your funky house and want to join in with the celebrations, go download the latest mix “Sold”. (If you have subscribed to the One Phat DJ podcast, it should be downloaded automatically).
Tracklistings follow:
- Juliet Roberts – Caught In The Middle
- Jamiroquai – Dont Give Hate A Chance (Freemason Mix)
- Therese – Time (Seamus Haji & Paul Emmanuel Mix)
- Tom Novy ft Michael Marshall – Your Body (Club Mix)
- Aaron Smith ft Luvli – Dancin’ (Lil Love Remix)
- Herd & Fitz ft Abigail Bailey – Just Can’t Get Enough (Freemasons Remix)
- Jay-J ft Charlene Moore – With Him (Ron Carroll’s BMC Black Gospel Feel Edit)
- The Young Punx – Young & Beautiful
- Fishbowl – Movin’ Too Fast (Freemasons Full Vocal Mix)
- Funkaholicz – Heartache (Dancing Divaz Mix)

Hullo – I just came to your site via ilovecode! I’ve just grabbed your Sold podcast which rocks but when I try to get your previous ones, I get anywhere between 9 minutes and 3 seconds worth (the 3 seconds of Best Served Chilled was, er, great). Any idea what is going on?
I’m glad you like the Sold mix Weon but I can’t explain why you can’t get the previous mixes. It downloads fine for me but I must admit that I use a free download manager for most of my downloads. May I suggest you try using that in case the downloads are timing out?
(We are currently trying out a new hosting account for hosting all my MP3s at the moment so all other comments regarding part downloads would be appreciated.)
Hmm, I removed the Podcast from iTunes and then re-added it to see if that made a difference but to no avail. All I have done is opened the XML file for the Podcast and then downloaded the MP3s direct, replacing the partial downloads.
I don’t think it was timing out, it was just stopping before the end of the download.
Anyway, I have them now and I am enjoying them! Cheers!
Gah! Even doing a direct download, Gettin’ Ready gets terminated early every time. The best I’ve managed is 1:01 of the 1:04 duration so that’s going to have to do!
